Professor Barry Philips Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt since 2008. Training jiu jitsu 15 years.
First Hand for instruction by Carlos Gracie Jr., Marcio Feitosa, Rorion Gracie, Royce Gracie, Caique, Gordo, Gordino.
2 time Naga Gi and No Gi Champion .
Earned Varsity letters in both Track and Cross Country at Purdue University.
Head Cross Country coach at Wheaton Warrenville South High School.
Assistant Track Coach at Wheaton Warrenville South High School.
Purdue Bachelor of Science-Majors in Math and Psychology.
Indiana University Masters in Education-specializing in Alternative Education.
5 years of High School teaching experience.
I have learned from the best and trained with some of the best in the world, but the most important factor that makes me different is the fact that I am a trained teacher with 5 years of classroom and coaching experience. I understand the logical order that you need to learn Jiu Jitsu and have the skills to explain, demonstrate and inspire you to become a better person and Jiu Jitsu practitioner. |
